I take half of a gummy when I really need to relax. Some of the time they make me TOO relaxed! I would not recommend taking half unless you are needing a long nap or are doing activities that don't require much focus or energy. Take a whole one if you are in pain and want to pass out. Not many things with THC taste great but these are at least tolerable. I believe its a pretty good value. Good if you want to feel mellow and sleep-ready, but not ideal for a full-body buzz or mental lift.
