It’s compatible with both wax resins and cartridges, but a tip to other users: if it doesn’t turn on right away, rapidly click the button 5 times and be a little firm about it but not too rough, should be smooth sailing from there !! took very smooth hits and wasn’t difficult to turn on or operate . charges quickly .
